Gerald Cantor has passed away.

I'm very saddened by the passing of Jerry Cantor. He,the proprietor of what I remember as "The Classical Collector".This was a superlative through the mail/online source for collecting quality vinyl,at very fair prices.

Yet, most of all Jerry was one of the finest, most enthusiastic and decent fellows I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with.....

HONEST,AND OF THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST INTEGRITY!!!

Sorry if some of you did not have the pleasure of dealing with him.....You missed out in knowing a super guy!!

A CLASSIC INDIVIDUAL,if there ever was one!!!

My heart goes out to his family.....

I heard the news a few days ago. Sad. He was a gentlemen and one of the nicest guys on planet earth. I had only met Jerry once at the midwest record show but through the years had talked many times. He will be missed.
Yes, the news of Jerry's passing was saddening. A gentle soul and a true music lover.

The annual Midwest Classical Record Show will be held at the same venue as before, the Holiday Inn at 5300 W. Touhy Ave. just west of the Edens Expressway (I-94), on Saturday, May 16th, from 9:30am till I think 4:30pm. Admission is very inexpensive, I think $2, and tables are $60. My friend Bob Craig, who has shown there for a long time, agreed with Jerry to take over the duties of putting on the show. Anyone interested in reaching Bob can email me for his contact info.
