Gallo 3.1 owners

Will my Audio Note 300B 8 WPC amp drive the 3.1?

I have the AN Sogon biwire SC and would like to know how they would work with this speaker? Can I plug in the extra cables into the sub section?

I would like to try out this speaker and hear how it performs next to my AN J/SPe speakers.

The 3.1 would be used and broken in.

Probably not very good.

The lower binding posts, labeled "Sub In," connect to the Nucleus Reference3 woofer’s secondary
voice coil – they’re designed to work with the optional Anthony Gallo Acoustics’ Reference3 SA
Power Amplifier.
Just to repeat and confirm what Riley said, don't even think about "biwiring" the Gallos in the way you suggest. As to using 300B SETs, I'd be doubtful. My 845 SETs work fine but the amps have huge transformers and 845 tubes can put out much more power than 300Bs.
the gallos are going to need the grunt of a push/pull type amp. you probably already know that moving to the gallo will give a less room dependent loudspeaker. they will also have a natural spaciousness, and they shouldn't be too fussy about amp matching, as long as the power is there....35wpc or more would be fine. even if you're bored with the AN signature sound, I'd think a move to a proac 2, or a spendor 2/3 would give you more life, without giving up the 'point of view' of your system.
