I calculated that I would have to pay them extra if I wanted to trade in my old CD player :(
but......as I recall last years program required an msrp of double the traded in component.....
not tgat this gets current flowing for me..
just to be fair....

Interesting to note that the similar program last year offered up to 75% of original value in trade ... this one seems very unattractive relative to open market pricing

^^^^^^

So...we go from 2017

................and up to 75% of original value to....

2018

......and 45% of the Original MSRP for current models and up to 35% of the Original MSRP for discontinued models.

Language indicative IMO, of a bean counter company ..... with the new owners.

I miss Kalvin and prior to that Leonard. If I was looking to buy alternates today, forget ARC - they would include Atmasphere, Music Reference and Coincident ....that come to mind. However with soon to be announced tariffs on US made gear into Canada, this will probably eliminate amps / preamps from the first two, as well as other gear from the US. As if our dollar disparity wasn’t enough. Trying times for those of us north of the 49th.
Could not imagine trading up at these prices. I would do better with Audiogon.

I got the email to,
I wonder what they'd give me on a SP9 MKii and a EC-2 crossover?

LOL
