Found some very early Thiels

Bought a pair of Conceptions Electronics Model 01 speakers at a flea market and it turns out they are Thiels (that was their original name).

Don't know much else yet, any help would appreciated. See photos at the links below.

Old thread, but I can clarify. Thiel Audio began as a division of Tom Thiel's Conceptions Design Studio which made furniture, musical instruments and other high artifacts. The first product, the Thiel Model 01 came from "Conceptions Electronics / division of Conceptions Studio". It had a custom Eminence 10" woofer and a 1.5" mylar dome by Long Engineering, with an active electronic equalizer taking response to 30Hz at 90+dB sensitivity. Goals included flat frequency response and clear dynamics over a full range in a small package. It was a success and led to future developments of phase / time coherence, first explored in the Model O3 in 1978.

Years back they had a 8" (I believe) two way, with the well liked (at the time) Peerless rectangular frame dome tweeter. They were branded Theil, and had a conventional box like these. They sounded decent back then. This was years back. I don't recognize the drivers used it these. These had to have been earlier than the one I mentioned.
I'm no expert on Thiels, but what makes you think your Conception Electronics are Thiels? Again, I don't know Thiel's history too well, but they don't look like any model I've seen from them, and I didn't see anything in your pictures that led me to think they were related.
