The f208 would be a better comparison to the speakers listed. To my ears the focals be tweeters give a more detailed presentation than revel. I didn't get to hear the two side by side so who's to say? I find the Revels manage to have all the music there without drawing attention to any one area while the 1028Be2 was stunning in its delivery of master recordings when I put on some of my 'old favorites' they fell apart, The revels manage more bass for their size and price but keep the midrange and treble under control. PSB has a great rep and should also be demoed in your room.
Focal Electra 1028BE vs Revel Perform a vs PSB Imagine T3
Any thoughts on Focal Electra BE series 1028 or 1038 compared to Revel Performas clear uncolored sound? I hear great reviews and similar for PSB Imagine. I currently own Revel Performa F206 but need more power handling and easier to drive. They sound great otherwise.
