Very nice speaker for the money. But if I were you, I would be checking out the Focal 814v that is identical to the 716v in every way except it comes in Pianao Black finish. See link below for a pleasant surprise.

Regarding how they sound, Focals tend to be a little on the bright side. So if you like a lively, forward sound, then you will like them.
