Focal 1008be

Anyone have experience with these speakers? Was looking between them and the Dynaudio special 40 bookshelf speakers. I will be using a Yamaha as1100 integrated and curious if anyone has any input. I’ve heard the Dynaudios and they were superb. For same price though the focals caught my eye but can’t demo unfortunately. Any help/input would be greatly appreciated. Will be used for wide range of music genres and low to medium volume as I live in an apartment

Focals have transparent highs and soft loaded spring sound (behind the woofer) - you can sort of get the idea by hearing this :

...but if you really liked Dynaudio, they are fine speakers as well - I wouldn't buy speakers I have never heard myself. As you seem to like Dyns, why not go with them?
