floor standing speaker for shared wall? (front ported or enclosed tower options)

Live in a townhouse and have just come to realize how much bass rumble our neighbor has put up with... Looking to swap out our Meadowlark Kestrel floor standing/tower speakers for something either front ported or enclosed. Prefer to stick with something of a similar size and sound. Have also enjoyed more "naturalistic" speakers like the Spendor 3/5A and some Harbeth. Don't want to lose much bass, though articulation > presence. Imaging is important. Sennheiser HD650 is very close to perfect to my ears, if such a thing exists in the speaker world. Would be driven by an older NAD integrated. Mostly listen at lower levels, for whatever that's worth. Any thoughts?

You would think in a townhouse, the walls and floors would be better than most.  Are your speakers decoupled? That will cause rumble in a neighboring room.

If the rooms share common flooring, on stem wall foundations, with common floor joist,  they transfer a lot of harmonics.

Decoupling the speakers is probably the best and least expensive way to help you and your neighbor.

Could probably add some nice Columns and add better bass.
The neighbors won't notice as much, but your experience will be greatly enhanced.. Me and my columns.. I love um'

Just a thought..
