100% agreement. You may find going to smaller speakers for this type of music counter-productive. My MartinLogans are not big enough and am looking for a pair of Prodigies.
Floor Standing ESL's v. Monitors: Symphonies
Just wondering if anyone with a taste for large orchestral works and jazz has gone from floor standing full range speakers to smaller monitors. Right now we are using Innersound Eros and I am seriously contemplating moving to a pair of Merlin TSM-xxx series monitors. For fear of making an incorrect move please advise on your listening impressions of the Merlins with such musical works. Thank you.
