First Sound Presence Deluxe - Mk. 2 Owners

I just received delivery of this preamp and all I can say is WOW. I was wondering if any fellow owners have suggestions for power cords. As you all know the cord that comes stock is rather humorous.

Thanks for any help.

hi
I have the Ultimate Paramount and I use (2)Elrod Signature with great success. I got alot more bass along with another degree of transparency. Have fun!
I've had good luck with the Shunyata Taipan (the original version).

When you're ready, try Siemens Gold Pin 7388 tubes, if you can find them. But really, you don't need any of this stuff, especially if you are saying WOW! with the stock unit. It's a magnificent product.
I'M USING MAC WIRE DELTA 1 POWER CORD ON MY FIRST SOUND MARK 11 PREAMP. I THINK YOU'LL FIND THAT THIS CORD YIELDS BETTER DYNAMICS & DETAIL BECAUSE OF THE LOWER NOISE FLOOR COMPARED THE THE SHUNYATA WHICH I THOUGHT SOUNDED "EUPHONICALLY SOFTER"

REGARDS,
RAMSES
I'm using a Virtual Dynamics Nite II cord. Pitch black background and great imaging.

I think the rec of the virtual dynamic is accurate,I also run VD and know that the master would eat the Elrod and the Shunyatas.I have had both and the VD gives way cleaner power with no colorations,it will take 2-3 days for the components to get rebiased to the new cords.I owned a MK11 and felt that it is one of the best linestages in existance, also use the cardas caps for unused inputs if you live in a rf environment. Also try the Nos tubes since they make a huge difference in the soundstaging and dynamics-Take care Dennis
I have a Paramount like Nick T. and use 2 BMI Whale Statements which I had cryoed, even though Brian Introcaso doubted that the cryoing would do any good. These have been the best I have used on my First Sound Preamp (even besting the Elrod Signatures), but they are a bit clumsy, as are the Elrods.

Have not used a Virtual Dynamics Nite II, but did try a couple of lesser models on other equipment. These lesser models were decent, but the stiffness of the VD cords dissuaded me from "moving up" in the line.
