Extra long runs of Digital coax?

Is there any major disadvantage to having long runs of digital coax (RCA) coming from my server over to my DAC if the server is in another room?

We are talking like 10 meters of coax.....

Any suggestions?
It is preferable to use optical for longer runs but I suggest you try coax first and see. optical cannot pick up any stray RF/EM noise from equipment. Anyway you'll know pretty soon if it doesn't work as you'll get errors.
We have coax running from another room (about 60ft) without a problem!
Belden 1694A is designed for low loss. http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/digital-audio/index.htm

It's pretty stiff. I use the 1505F instead.
