experience with low powered set amps and proac 2s

I listened to response 2's with Welborne Labs Laurel's (7.5 wpc 300B) for several years. My room is 12' x 12.5' x 7'.

The sound of the 300B seems to match the '2's well and in your modest sized apt. should provide enough power for everything but large scale classical and loud rock.

I believe the Cary Audio 300SEI tube integrated is supposed to work very well with those speakers, especially given your maximal SPL constraints and music tastes.
