software update for the linn unidisk 1.1 and 2.1 is out to fix all of the noted problems. have your friend conntact his dealer.
Experience w/ Linn Unidisk 1.1 or Goldmund 18D?
I'm looking to get a high-end universal player and am considering both the Linn and Goldmund units. Has anyone had experience with either of these or auditioned them? I currently own the Goldmund 21+ DAC and am willing to run redbook format through it so I'm really looking for the other formats to be exceptional.
