Emailing him is not the best method of contacting him. He responds very quickly to telephone calls.

Finally, I could talk to John Tucker by the phone and he offered to send the parts needed to fix the problem in my Exemplar-Denon that a local tech, finally, could figure it out.
He proved to be a gentleman and very helpful to me as I´m living in Spain.
John does, not only, makes great products, he also supports them. As we say in Spain: "no te deja tirado".
Thanks to Tvad and Warrenh for their advice.
01-17-07: Jesusa0I understand now why emailing was your first choice. Calling from Spain is not the easiest or least expensive method.
Anyway, great to hear things worked out. John is definitely one of the "good guys" in high end audio.
send it in to john it sound like you have a bad elec problem. met john at the 2007 ces he has great pride in his players i live in las vegas and he said he would come to my house if i was having any problems (5910 owner)and(2900) owner
i know its a pain but send it in he'll freshin it up the 2900 blew my mind with smooth dynamic play back so i just had to have the balanced version 5910 which is awesome .
Ok. The Exemplar-Denon is at home back again.
Sounding as good as the first day.
Now I´m listening to the Billy Cobham "Spectrum" DVD audio and it´s amazing. You know I had the vinyl album in early seventies -I used to listen to it on a mono player with one speaker-, then the CD, but this DVD audio thru de Exemplar, plus an Unison Research S6 amp, two Yamaha NS-10M monitors and a ACI-Maestro Subwoofer, is heaven.
Finally, thank you all, specially John Tucker.
