3 big crates for $925.00 to Tokyo seems like it's not off the wall. Wow what cry babies. I wonder what an air line ticket is to Tokyo from LA? Anyone know?
I bought these speakers and the whole transaction has been 1st class with phone calls and mail.
If these speakers are any where near what I heard at ML's place than I will be a happy camper.

I have always found it funny how, in general , selling to Canada/over seas that the buyer wants free shipping or near free shipping.

When the price goes up all the CB's will come out and B about the up movement of $$$. Well you have your chance , buy now DI. All cry babies will be vaporized . Really when you hear these guys you will know the $$$ has to go up. Oh that will take me out of the game if the $$$ goes up. Well play now!!
This guy at 3 hours ran past my 10K plus Zu Audio Def 2 speakers. At 6/9 hours I heard tunes coming out of them that was in line with the much praise it has received in the Forums. Want bottom end go get a JL. Get two of them!!
So you want a deal. Ask mom for 2K and have yourself a blast. Very few times in this insane hobby do you find gold this pure. Def 15K+ speaker going on here.

Pushing 100 hours on mine. The first 25/40 hours they sounded great but small and closed in. Now it has opened up and sounds as big as my floor standing Zu Def2 speakers. Got a sub coming but really don't miss much bass with these speakers. On certain tunes you really do need one but I am still quite happy with the bass without one for now.
What a great buy this has been. Running them with an ASR amp and will be hearing these speaker driven by the BMC integrated amp @ RMAF.

Filled the steam of the stands with Micro Bearing Conductive Steel from Star Sound Technologies. Then I installed the cheese Wizz spikes and placed them on the Equarack speaker Footers. Well it was ......
So I called Robert from Star Sound and was told he could design a super stand for these speakers for around 1.5K. What I heard with the Equarack Footers makes the SS stands a no brainer. |
I have had both products under different speakers and both work in a big way. My point is the whole stand needs to be re-designed and SS can do that. |

The difference is major with the correct stands/Footers under speakers.
1.5K stands under 2K speakers. These speaker deserve respect.

110 watts will do but the 300B is pushing it.
The MM1 needs subs !! Installing the Gen. S/4 subs was a huge change for the better.

You don't need a sub then. I like to hear kick drums in my body LOL. You will love them but make sure to stick some Sistrum 004 under them.
The MM 1 to me is a more refined speaker with greater clarity. Less of the cabinet sound for sure. The amp has less than 100 hours on it but to me it does some things better than the ASR but it is not as quiet. It is very musically convincing. There are tubes in the Pre section so I like that. |

I would say that a sub when added to the mix in my system has made these speakers a true reference sounding speaker. I look forward to someday upgrading to the next level when $$$ allows. |
So we see Magico V2/V3 flying around on the 'Gon for 9/12K.
How does the MM1 run with these dogs? I wonder if the MM1 with a dialed in Sub will sound as good or better than the V2/3. |
I have the Genesis S/4 sub and I find it to be an easy setup with the MM1. It makes a big difference in my rather large room. |
My thought is they will outrun the V2/3 if you add a sub and get it right.
