Esotreic K-O3 owners or K-O3X owners

Would like to hear from you on -direct to the amp or with preamp? If preamp what solid-state preamp? Moving away from Ht to two channel. Just ordered a new K-O3X. Can not afford a new preamp right now. So it will have to go to the amp or through the Ht processor direct pass .
