I am sure this will upset some members as well but oh well....

Last I checked this was an audio related forum and although the OP links very tenuously to audio in the title we all can see it has nothing to do with audio whatsoever.
Now we could argue the actual merits of the topic all day long but the fact remains it has no place in these forums.

There are plenty of platforms for this type of topic, here is NOT one of them.

I am surprised that admin have not deep sixed this thread a long time ago.

Personally you can call it whatever you like, its the results and impact that are the concern not its name
So yes I am going to let it drop as it is of little import under the circumstances.
But it was universally known in the media as coronavirus UNTIL our glorious leader started spouting China Virus.
At least that is the first occasion I heard it referenced as such.
And if there were earlier reference so be it, I am no expert and do not claim to be.

I think you will find China has reduced it's virus infection rate by other means...
Likely more a result of near total house arrest and a culture that actually follows and obeys orders.
