Why what's wrong with your Meridian, that's an excellent piece? The EAD will be more musical for 2 channel. I think you would only benifit with the Theta if it had Superior DAC's in the fron
I guess one of my biggest problems with the Meridian is that it's not simple to set up. I know the ead has a great auto setup with the supplied microphone.
Do you want multichannel inputs?? If so, the theta won't work for you, if you do, the EAD is a nice piece, though the multichannel input will use 6 or 8 analog ins.....
