Dynavector Tonearm

I'm getting ready to upgrade my tonearm and cartridge. A dealer I talked to today recommended a Dynavector arm and a Frog cartridge. I'm mounting to a VPI HW-19 Mk IV. I have not seen or heard much on the Dynavector. Can anyone help?

i've heard good things about these tonearms, but they're *very* expensive, even used. i'd suggest an origin-live modified rega rb250. they also do mods for the rb-300/600/900, but, due to different bearing design of the 250, o-l sez it's the best of all, after the mods. a true world-beater at a ridiculously low price, relative to other arms. http://www.originlive.com/index.htm i got mine from stoneaudio-uk: http://www.stoneaudio.co.uk/

good luck, doug

I used a DV-505 on an Oracle about 15 years ago. It was decent but bested by several other arms out at the time. It would pale in comparison to any number of "low-cost" arms out today.
