DVD player recommendations in the 1k range +/-?

I'm looking to get a dvd player with excellent video and sonic qualities in the 1k range. I will be buying a front projector and screen. My video processor is the arcam avr300.

The video is fine and the sound on redbook isn't bad and the SACD and DVD Audio are quite good, plus it has a solid build quality to it. Also has DVI.
