I am a two channel guy.....2 Mcintosh amps....cd player. CAN ANYONE SUGGEST A GOOD DVD PLAYER ($700 or less new or used) THAT DOES ANALOG OUT GOOD TO A 2 CHANNEL SYSTEM. I have a BLU-RAY PLAYER. I do like a quality movie. I do not care for the 5 channel thing. I AM LOOKING FOR SOMETING WITH A GOOD STRONG OUTPUT FOR CONCERT MOVIES IN TWO CHANNEL. I do like HDMI...but I do not have to have that. As DVD players got better (especially the lower cost units) I think the analog outputs were forgotten. I am not talking about Esoteric etc. I will gladly take any suggestions. Pioneer seems to be a good one. How are the OPPO'S? The BLU-RAY into a sound bar is all of the home cinema sound I need. I want something that rocks on my big system for concerts. THANKS FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS.
Oppos are good. I have one and think it does a good job on two-channel out (it has a setting for that) and the features for DVD are good. For example, you can skip right to the start menu a lot of the time.
