I read the same article. It looks like at least some of the suits in the record biz are finally starting to "get it". It's a "value thing stupid". Once they start to realize they have to offer more value to the consumer, then we start to make progress. Some more original music might be nice. How about using the internet as a medium to expose those fresh new acts? Don't be so freaking paranoid about the piracy thing. And stop treating your best customers like common criminals. Then again, maybe that's too much to ask.
