Dual Aes to my knowlage is two digital cables to carry the signal. some time ago digital receivers were limited to 24/96 so to increase bandwidth to 24/192 two Aes cables are used,hense dual Aes.
I just bought 2 1m balanced XLR cables to connect my Vivaldi Upsampler to the DAC. I used Wire World Eclipse 7 Platinum but any high quality cable should work.
