Yes, it can be done setup for AV by-pass. Contact Placette Audio for details. You will need to send the unit in to have this feature added.

Does the Placette ALS have bypass for an AVR
I want to combine my dedicated projection room with my 2 channel HiFi room. I want to keep my Placette, Ampzilla's to power my and VMPS's with this 2 channel system. But I'm wondering if it is possible, and if so how, to hook-up my NAD 773 AVR to my Placette so that I can run the center and surround speakers with the NAD for movies/HD sat. The powered Vandersteen subs connect directly to the Placette. I'm not a very technical study... but I can plug things in ;-) Thanks.
