Do you have any concern for the environment when keeping your equipment 24/7 ?

Maybe if we all rode bicycles and listened to wind-up sony walkmans,
we could put a dent in this ice age err hothouse err climate change we're seeing. If these folks "know" the world will pretty much end in 12 years how about a heads up in how it's going to be in a year or two? Should be easy right? One word: algore

Is that the same VW that purchased my 2013 diesel Jetta back due to emissions cheating?  Not complaining mind you. I drove it for three years and they gave me more than the original purchase price.
