Do I have enough electronics for Contour s1.4?

I'm a big fan of the dynaudio sound and have loved my 52se's I'm looking for something that will have a less congested midrange and more refined sound-stage and a little deeper bass extension. My system is in the living room, hardwood floors with rugs, curtained side walls. dimensions? Not sure. Volume has not been a problem. Listening habbits are about 30% critical listening with speakers optimally placed away from all walls on HEAVY steel stands, and 70% background music.

I pulled the trigger on the S1.4's. They are awesome.

C1's are out of budget for now.

Well here we are almost 5 years later and the upgrade bug has hit me again. The s1.4 have been great and triggered several other upgrades. I am now running the Musical Fidelity A3.2CR separates (Pre/Amp) and a modified MSB Gold DAC. Considering the Dynaudio C1 or C2 Platinums. Or maybe the new Contour 20 now that they have the Esotar2 tweeter. 

Thanks for your comments. I found a good deal on a set of demo Confidence C1 Platinum's and am loving them. I listened to some C2's, the new Contour C60's and C20's and really found I preferred the C1 sound and size/form factor.
