DIY A Roon Core for < $500

Roon Core requires more CPU than an R Pi can provide, so maybe consider this ASRock mini PC, for around $300:

You'll need to add memory and storage, and optionally a linear power supply, but this is a pretty sweet and relatively high power unit. You could add a wireless keyboard and mouse to turn it into your living room Internet PC.
