kind of expensive but it works great: Midiman CO3 format onvertor. I own one and it does the job. It has TOSlink, coaxial, and AES/EBU inputs and outputs. You can switch between the input formats and ouptut on all 3 at the same time. digital coax to balanced aes/ebu converter?
I've got a bunch of old DAT tapes to convert to CD. Fostex burner has aes/ebu input, but DAT (old Sony) only has coax out. Is there any advantage to coax out on Sony to aes/ebu in on CR300 (or would coax to coax be just as good)? If advantage does someone sell a converter? Thanks.
