Has anyone heard the new Krall CD (NOT DVD) "Live in Paris", and what are your thoughts?

Compared to the sonic air bushed sound of her studio recordings this is not a bad effort.

The Concord Records boys- Hamilton & Clayton provide her with a good foundation to entertain her Paris fans.
Cpdunn99- I was all set to give Tobin a listen until you
said she mixes Cohen...the most boring singer/songwriter on
the planet. I guess if you drink whiskey anything sounds good.

Guess I'll have another cup of kava and put on Alison Krauss's new live CD.

Aloha.
Cpdunn99- Thanks for the update, I'll listen to Tobin's
latest. No insult intended. To a non-drinker, there no such
thing as "good whiskey."

You should try some kava, it makes you feel relaxed without dulling your senses. Here's a "good kava" link- http://www.mauigateway.com/~kava/

Aloha
Redkiwi- Is right, all of us discover music via a different doorway.

For me, the thrill of discovery, is what great music and audio systems are all about.

The best thing you can do for a friend, is turn them on to some great music.

Please add these to this growing ladies list: Dee Dee Bridgwater, Ernestine Anderson,Randy Crawford, Maxine Sullivan, the blues divas: Etta James and Koko Taylor, and the group Sweet Honey in the Rock.

Aloha.
