Denon 3803.
I got one and could not be happier with it. The pioneer in my opinion diddnt sound quite as good.
the denon 3803 is pretty versitile too. Its also pretty smart, and doesent take too long to get set up.
My advise, is make sure you get some banana plugs. They spaced the speaker posts pretty closly together in the back
Im like you, 50% music, and 50% movies. Get the denon and you wont look back

I piss off alot of people here, so let me first say that the Denon 3803 is a fine product, I'm sure the pioneer is also a very good product. My opinion on sound was based off of listening to various speakers in a room wwhere the denon and pioneer could be compared by the push of a button, i however firmly believe the pioneer is a good product as well.
