I use to have an Ovation, great table. [except when I had to lift it] If price is not critical I would go with the Denon 304 over the 103 based on my experience with both in arms of similar mass [VPI 9 and 12.7]. I just got a Basis 2001 with Graham arm and a AT 33EV is working well in it. The Graham has some similarities to the Vector arm.
Denon Dl-103 + Basis Vector Tonearm: Impressions?
Hi: We have a Basis Vector 4 on a Basis Ovation. Just wondering if anyone has heard the Vector-Denon DL103 combo. and their impressions. I have read that the Denon can be finicky with tonearm mass. The Vector apparently has 11-15g effective mass. Thanks.
