You can't go wrong with the Denon. There are also alot of mods available for the 2900.

I'm in the 400 dollar price range and am looking for reliability, redbook CD playback, and good video quality...probably valued in that order. Of the two players, what do you guys recommend? I am open to suggestions about these players and other. Thanks, Justin
