Dac owners -Especially Aries-2 and Pontus but applies to other dacs as well

I have been in Audio quite awhile, and often try to see what I can do for better sound and tweaks.  To start on the back all your RCA have nuts to hold them on loosen them up and then hand tighten no wrench , for XLRscrews as well ,back screws off a bit then just Snug tight why because from factory they are so tight vibrations transmit through the circuit board and create micro distortions ,it makes perfect sense .For sure you can hear a bigger soundstage and image focus ,not huge but clearly audible. These dacs too are true balanced XLR cables recommended ,especially if your preamp is balanced.

i found two tweaks That will cost you a bit $$  but a Big improvement in sound well worth the cost

the New synergistic Purple fuse by far their best to date but $200  give it around 150-200 hours for sure ,sonicly everything sounded more cohesive more real  I believe it was Oregon papa That gave this tip ,RIP .  I  give each tweak ample time , the second bought tweak  is more then a tweak and it’s a Duelund Loudspeaker Purifier  you just  plug into your speaker terminal ,the parts are top quality brands  both from Duelund capacitors and Mundorf , New Ultra resistors , it looks like a RC circuit  and is but it is not part of the internal Xover it’s  not cheap $350  I plugged these into my open Loudspeaker terminal and didnot hear much and was a bit skeptical then as advised once I got to around 💯 hours my whole audio system was more open ,cleaner sounding and better imaging ,I was told from another guy who has them they get better still to over 250 hours the capacitor is Huge ,it does exactly  exactly whst it claims I have 200 + hours on them, it filters all the garbage upstream from components . I have demonstrated all these to others at our Audio get together and all 6 heard the same improvements which was very satisfying and I thought I should share, thise tips apply to all equipment,   Happy listening 🎶.
