That should work. Also,keep the DAC turned on at all times even after break-in.
DAC burn-in question
To put hours on a new DAC for purposes of burn-in, can you run the amp with volume on zero?
Seems to me, transport is sending data to the DAC input, DAC is processing it as normal and outputting it to the amp. Does the volume the amp is set to make any difference in exercising the DACs electronics?
