Critique my (possible) new system. Suggestions welcome!

I’m putting together a new system in my main living room and listening area. This system will do double duty for both movies and music in a 2.1 configuration. Main listening space is approx 15x15 but opens up into kitchen and dining room. Music listened to is a mix of all genres. Reason for upgrading is for better 2 channel listening. I have some vinyl but for now all my music will be streamed via Tidal and Amazon HD.

Current System:

RBH (emptek) e55 towers, SVS PB12nsd subwoofer, Yamaha Aventage Receiver, Sony 75 inch 4K tv, Sony 4K disc player, Panamax power conditioner, cheap cables.

Proposed new system:

Speakers: Elac Vela FS 407
Integrated Amp: Lyngdorf TDAI 2170 (connected to the Yamaha AVR for HT bypass)
Streamer: Either Bluesound Node2i or Audiolab 6000n
Cables: No clue and could use help here.
Subwoofer: SVS PB12nsd

Any thoughts, suggestions, recommendations or critiques are welcomed and appreciate!

If it's  fairly  new and you might add more speakers then I would keep it and use whatever new integrated amp you have for the l and r front and let the Yamaha do the res. Makes sense if you plan on adding surround  you only mentioned 2.1 in your original  post.
