Creative+Lavry or USB to IS2

My PC is currently installed with a Creative SB live 24bit. The signal output is at sampling rate of 96 kHz. I am using coaxial connection; I am decoding it with a Lavry Black DA10

I was wondering whether if switching to a USB to IS2 converter would give me higher quality of audio when playing back computer audio files. If so, what are the good brands of equipments?

Or are there any set up that will have higher fidelity? If so, like what?

I just upgraded to a RME Hammerfall HDSP 9632 card to feed the Lavry Black DA10 this afternoon and was very suprised at the huge improvement. It replace a USB SB Audigy 2 NX. The McIntosh now sounds the way I expected.

Office:
PC->RME->DA10->McIntosh 6900->Monitor Audio GR10s

Home
PC->Audiophile 2496->Cary 303/200->Marantz SR18EX->Marantz MA700->Monitor Audio GR20s with FB210
As far as I know, I'm the only one designing computer-driven I2S interfaces. I had not planned to add I2S to the Lavry, however if it has I2S internally, this can be done with a wire harness and some rework to the board.
