Cottage industry of phono stage?

K&K Audio fits the definition of a "Cottage" industry. It's a one man operation run out of Kevin's home in Apex, NC. Kevin is very helpful and supportive of the DIY community. I'm sure that everyone out there who has built one of his products appreciates his efforts. I know that I do.

Jeffery Jackson's LCR phonostage looks at the issue in an entirely different way. We need guys like him who work independently without consideration to costs because it is they who advance the art.

It may be easier, and shorter, to list the one's that aren't built by cottage industry dudes. ;-)
