It would definitely be a worthwhile upgrade. What you'll get with the Copland CTA-305 is the detail and resolution of a great solid state design with the immediacy and 3 dimensional soundstage of a great tube design. I use one in my reference system and it performs flawlessly. You can also read the review in UHF magazine, they currently use it in two of their reference systems. Hope this helps.
