You have it right, you would not "short anything out" by hooking them up the other way anyway.

Okay guys,I'm going to have to change my name as I just traded my Adcom-555 and some cash for a pair of PSE Studio V monoblocks.My problem is that rather than having + and - signs on the amp connections it says comman and signal.Im assuming that signal is + and comman is - but I'm not sure and I don't want to short anything out.Anybody know for sure wich is wich.
