Sound bars are primarily focused on TV. However, several TVs have media players built in.

Connecting external drive to play flac files
I was about to buy the Bose 700 sound bar when I determined it could not play the flac files I ripped from CD collection. Is there a sound bar that does this. I was also disappointed to see that ironically the Bose sound bar does not have a headphone jack.
