Condolenances to The Siau Family

I didn’t recognize the name immediately. OMG. I am in shock. Benchmark’s VP and Chief Designer, John Siau, is his brother?

"A co-worker of David Siau described him to AP as “a great person, a great friend .... (and) a great dad, definitely loving with his three kids.”

“They just loved to do activities with them outdoors, even just fun simple things, like weekend and day trips,” said Peter Depuy, a bookkeeper for a Syracuse audio products company, Benchmark. David Siau was the production manager at the 13-employee company and first started work there more than two decades ago when he was a teenager, Depuy told AP.

David was his son and his daughter of 18 months was of course the grand-daughter.

I emailed David a few times 2 years ago to resolve an issue with my preamp. Very helpful.

So sad to hear.

I called Benchmark (I've spoken to them before, researching their gear). They are in shock. John will be out for a while, and I sent him a condolence email (the person I spoke to said that would be welcomed). Such a horrible tragedy. 😢

This is so sad, so wrong on so many levels. 

What the f is happening these days! 

John Siau, I'm sorry for your loss.

Tragic.... what  would possess someone to do that ?  sick world we live in.   Condolences to the Benchmark family.
