Compatibility of products from Japan in US

Own this mini HIFI system from Japan (Sony HCD-F3MD), everything works but the FM stations go only to 90mhz. In US there is not much below 90mhz. Anyone else experianced symilar problem?

What did you expect? Its a problem with any radio not made for export into the US. Below 90 MHz in the US is mainly non-profit (PBS, college radio). Just tell everyone its a radio made for people with good taste. ;)
