In 1997 I was set to replace an Aragon 4004 with an ARC D-400. . . until I actually heard one and was shocked at how bright and tizzy it sounded. That same day, I fell in love in the same store with a pair of JRDG 7M monos because of their liquid musicality, and I used them for about 10 years. From 3rd party reports alone, I suspect the Pass 250 may share many of the comfortable musical attributes of the JRDG 7Ms.
