ClearAudio Clarify Ground Wire

Hello,
My ground wire on the ClearAudio Clarify tonearm has some damage and would normally be up for replacement. However, it is integrated with the interconnects. Any recomendations on how to repair / replace it? Should I be concerned with a loss in fidelity if it is repaired by way of electric tape wrap. Thanks!

Thanks! It does sound nice and crisp! Good call on the tube. I'll do that! Thanks again!!
Is it just the insulation that's damaged? If so...tape should be fine...if it was the cable the insulation/ground shield, dialectric is much more crucial...
If it is just repairing the jacket I would not worry, well either way even with repairing the wire too, I would say no loss of fidelity.
I would use shrink tube not electrical tape.
