ClassicsOnline shutting down

I just got an email saying they were shutting down at the end of the month. Time to transfer all your downloads to your hard drives.
It's sad to see they aren't able to make a go of it. Their new model of Naxos only would have been a nice collection.

Spotify offers Naxos recordings that ClassicsOnline didn't-go figure. I asked Customer Service and they said they 'hoped' they would get around to adding them.

I only wish Tidal had a more robust classical catalogue or Spotify could upgrade their sound quality to match Tidal.
I tried ClassicsOnline for a few months a couple of years ago. Once I got my streaming issues straightened up with my ISP, I truly enjoyed the quality and selection. But I had to decide between Tidal and ClassicsOnLine and Tidal won. Promised myself to re-up when I could afford and now it looks like I’ll have to go in a different direction.

Really, really enjoyed the service and music while I had it. I should add that I am not a classical music buff by any means. I first listened to Holst and Sibelius on ClassicsOnline. For that I'm grateful.

They lost there people who supply there servers. They said they are looking for new providers and when they find one they will go back to providing a streaming service
