Stereophile reviewed the Omega SACD-1 last year (can't recall the month). From my recall, Classe is just using the Sony transport. The electronics are all new.
The SACD-1 uses separate signal paths for redbook and SACD. I think it upsamples redbook to 96khz. It uses 3 DSD converters per channel for SACD.
For all that change it ought to sound different than the SCD-1.
