I've got the same speakers and a Carver amp rated at 100/8 gets hammered off by the Aeriuses very quickly. I can tell you that a a minimum you will need to bridge this amp and get another one; perhaps a better strategy would be a more powerful 4ohm amp. I will let you know how my experience unfolds.
