choice between a Classe SA220 or Mac MC500?

I have a choice to make ..between a Classe SA2200 or a Mcintosh MC-500 what are the thoughts or recommendations as both have great detailed sound..the Classe is one year old..the McIntosh about 20 driving some acoustats including Spectra 44 or Spectra 3 and possibly a Cabasse or Apogee as I have a few systems on the go

I assume you mean CA2200. The MC500 will be much softer and less detailed than the Classe IMO. They will sound very different. However the MC500 will be able to drive any speaker, even your tough ones. Which is better will depend on your tastes and your system.
