So Kevin Deal at Upscale release his Video on Raven Audio giving us something to chew on in this forum and W. Jennings gives us this.

@yuviarora , Fascinating to watch someone commit political seppuku, disemboweling themselves for all to watch as the putrid mess that passes for your beliefs spill out onto the floor.

I’d say you need to take your show on the road but like Daffy Duck said in that cartoon where he blew himself up, "I can only do it once."

Here’s hoping you can, only, too.

@yuviarora , is this what the world you live on looks like?

What I write is not what you refer to. It loses something in translation from my way of thinking plainly to whatever it is that passes for your way of thinking.

And as for your accusation and feigned concern of my Russophobia, give me break, comrade. I have nothing against the people of Russia. It's their leaders who hate democracy so much, thinking that it will creep and gain hold in their country, that they openly seek out those here who'll aid them in discrediting it here.

Wouldn't you?

Citing a right wing pejorative Chinese term that allies with your belief system only reinforces the fact that there are people just like you, over there.

Strength in numbers, I guess.

Get in your time machine and go back some and then substitute Blacks for Chinese and see how it stands up. The same things were said about those who decried it then.

Gotta admit, it was sorta clever.

@yuviarora , of course you'd say something as inane as that.

Worse offender? Don't make me laugh.
Most caustic personality? If anything, I tamp down the uncivil here and they, like you, play the grievance card. Very typical of your kind to act like you're the ones being victimized, when it's merely projection.

As for being PC, far from it. Just calling a spade a spade. When did it become normal to whine about PC when someone is just pointing out the obvious? You guys cry wolf way too often.

Political correctness and civil behavior towards others are two different things.  Hopefully people do not use political correctness as an excuse to not be civil.

Chi-fi is used as a derogatory term and should not be part of civil discourse. It is insulting to anyone of Chinese heritage, which includes mostly good and many very talented people. It’s that simple. Do not use this word unless that is your intent.

Couldn't agree more. Never heard anyone use the term French-Fi, Pol-Fi, Ger-Fi, Ital-Fi, etc. Just because it's considered common usage in some circles doesn't make it acceptable.

YEAH, they are called the Demon-cratic party lmao...wake up!

My goodness....what a simpleton. Speaking of which.....

Hey mikey, what are you smoking?

You got all that from what I said? Sounds more like you're reaching.
Go back and reread what I said in response to what someone else keeps harping about and maybe it will start to make some sense. But then, knowing you, maybe not.

Darn, I thought it was just two. Yes, they are great law schools but the point was that there’s a curation process going on with members of the Supreme Court, particularly with the right. The Federalist Society accounts for about 90% of all judges appointed by just Rump. 5 of the 6 conservatives on the SC are Federalist Society judges, and the Federalist Society only comprise about 70K lawyers and judges in this country of over 1.33 Million lawyers and 1,440 judges. That’s a tiny amount that gets an overtly oversized share of the appointments.

This "union" is what one journalist called the A**hole Factory. Tons of dark money are behind the choosing and curation of these jurists as they make they way towards the bench. Here’s a great piece by Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse on the matter.

If the common workers had any such powers and abilities to have such a "union" at their disposal, imagine the gains they could achieve.

I find it fascinating how the term, union, can elicit scorn and derision. One thing the plutocrats and captains of industry discovered is how they can unionize around common interests and solidify their stronghold on the world around them, and then see how it can disadvantage them if the lessors amongst them did the same.

The rich have think tanks, special interest groups, collectives, extensive media penetration and money bundling (PACS) to support pols who'll serve to ensure their interests are first and foremost in the policies they put forth.

They even have assembly lines of universities, law schools and special interest groups to ensure they only get the judges they want (all Supreme Court judges come from only 2 universities).

But when it comes to the common man, unions are demonized and the public conditioned to hate and excoriate them. Funny that. The rich know what works and damn if they'll let their lessors get a taste of it.
