I'm going to answer my own question because I just came across an ad for these speakers in the new Feb/March issue of The Absolute Sound. They Are Penaudio Charisma Monitors sitting on top of their Chara- bass unit. They are imported from Finland.

CES05: AlexisPark 1958 I had the opportunity to visit this room at the show and was quite impressed with the sound/bass response coming out of these small speakers, however I was in a rush and didn't have time to clarify who the manufacturer was (of the speakers). Please advise anyone?
